I am truly impressed by the longevity of both this boat and moreso the Jacuzzi Jet and would like to keep it running - it's been in my family for 30 years(many kids and grandkids) with one engine rebuild and the jet has never been touched - amazing in todays world of throw away items - you can't get a car to last that long anymore and they cost 40-60K!

Summer of 2005
Hi Jason,
Wanted to advise you that my Jacuzzi 12YJ is working beautifully after a fresh impeller was installed. I am definitely sold on it and do not plan on converting it. The higher thrust in low to mid-range is extremely important to me and most of the jet boaters I associate with!

The boat performs fantastic with zero cavitation under hard acceleration, and gets on step in 3 seconds!!! The boat has a flat bottom and is very heavy at 3000+ lbs. Top speed is 44 MPH turning 4700 RPM at WOT. She cruises nicely at 30 MPH/3200 RPM.
Thanks for your advise over the summer. I will be purchasing a wear-ring and replacements parts directly from you when the time comes.
